3 Ideas to decorate with garlands of Christmas lights

We are getting closer to Christmas and it is natural that our dear readers and Facebook followers, day after day looking for more ideas for Christmas . Today we share three ideas for decorating with Christmas lights that have enchanted us and you can do yourself.

Note that the strings of lights used to decorate any space and at any time of year, are not necessarily unique to the Christmas decorations . But since we are close to the holidays this year seems a good choice, because the lights are a typical Christmas ornament and also the most important thing is that it is inexpensive ideas that can be done with very little money. It is that if you already accounts with one of these garlands the rest will be pure fiction.

The first DIY (Do It Yourself in Spanish: do it yourself) is found in  JustCraftyEnough.com and need to do: garland lights, rolls of toilet or kitchen paper, tissue paper or crepe paper, wire, and school glue paper punch or element that allows us to give the paper rolls many holes, if possible in two different sizes.

It is cut rolls of paper in half (in case of toilet paper, if it were paper towels should probably cut into 3 equal parts), make the holes with our tool to drill, then glue the tissue paper or crepe paper inside, previously cutting to size. Once they are dry we must drill to pass the wire, which is what I will post every light bulb in our strip lights. You can see the full tutorial and more pictures here:  justcraftyenough.com .

The second DIY is a blog we love, BlogLovin.com . To carry out need small balloons (ideally be typical water balloons or bulbs, as they are much smaller than those balloons birthday), tissue or crepe paper, school glue, paint brush, scissors, and the main thing, garland light.

It is our balloons inflate with air, pass on glue with a brush, cut paper into square pieces to glue on nuestrso balloons to cover the entire surface. Once dry we prick our balloons (aided by a needle), you make a small hole in one end and remove. In that same hole we will place each light bulb. You can see the full tutorial here:  bloglovin.com .

Finally we go with another DIY blog TotallyLoveIt.com , for
which we will need, in addition to the garland of lights, those
paper cups or expanded polystyrene (these are sold in stores
Disposable items for birthdays or similar), papers color or
different reasons for covering our cups, glue or double-sided
tape, scissors and cutter.

We must cut the paper to fit our glasses. We have two options, stick the paper with glue or use double-sided tape, with which we will certainly be much neater. Once all of our vessels are dry, using a cutter must make two cuts in the base (as if it were a "+" sign) then enter our lights. You can see the full tutorial here:  totallyloveit.com .

What did you think of these ideas? Are you getting ready for

Christmas? We hope you liked and you'll be sharing more!
